ABOUT Tiggi
Tiggi Jalloh, Senior Partner and Head of Research of The Black Renaissance Group, is an advocate for health equity. She is passionate about utilizing research as a tool to drive success for our clients and firm through technology, in addition addressing the gaps many Black businesses and entrepreneurs face.
As the lead of Research and Development, Tiggi assists with our firm’s product development strategy. Since joining in 2019, her work has strengthened our firm’s work in target-audience research, which has supported external and internal research processes.
Tiggi is active in research and development, involved with our product development strategy. She also co-manages our partnership with Lippincott, in which we’ve developed Unlocking Success for Black Entrepreneurs, an insightful report of challenges Black enterprises face and outlined opportunities for Black businesses to drive success.
Educated at The George Washington University, Tiggi has had extensive research experience throughout her academic and professional career. Currently residing in Washington D.C., she continues to support and work with organizations that aim to bridge the health equity gap, specifically women’s health. She enjoys traveling and reading in her spare time.

“WHY BRG?” IN HER OWN WORDS
After learning more about BRG at its core, I knew that it was an organization I wanted to support. Black-owned businesses are far more likely to face unique challenges. That being said, it’s extremely important that Black enterprises grow and thrive with the right resources, network and access to capital.Fortunately, we’re now seeing this huge social media push to put dollars directly back in Black business owners'. But beyond the lifespan of the current trend, there needs to be a continuous effort to bridge the gap.
